Building an Ethical Culture: Using the AICPA Code to Guide Your Organization

Building an ethical environment

Doing the right thing doesn’t happen by chance, it is built into an organization’s culture. How do leaders mitigate risks and ensure compliance with ethical decision making? This presentation outlines the largest fraud risks small to medium sized companies face today, how to implement best practices and controls to mitigate those risks, and management’s role in monitoring these controls to foster an ethical work environment.

This one-credit-hour session takes participants through a series of learning objectives, applies a decision-making filter, and then helps participants develop an appropriate response using the conceptual framework of the AICPA Code of Conduct.
